Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Next Boost ("we", "us") collects when you use boost.nexorealm.org (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign up, we collect your email address, a username, and a password (stored securely and hashed by our authentication provider — we never see or store your plaintext password). You may optionally add a display name, bio, avatar image, and links to your social media profiles.

Activity data

We record the tasks you complete or post, your points balance and transaction history, achievements, referral activity, and comments you leave on tasks.

Anti-fraud data

To keep the platform fair and prevent fake engagement, we collect limited technical signals when you complete a task — including a hashed device fingerprint, a hashed IP address, and interaction signals like mouse movement, scrolling, and how long a page stayed in focus. This data is used only to detect automated or fraudulent activity and is not used for advertising or shared with third parties.

Purchase information

Point purchases are processed manually via PayPal, outside of Next Boost. We only store the package purchased, the amount, and the transaction reference you submit for verification — we never collect or store your payment card or PayPal account details.

Information we do not collect

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers, and we do not currently run analytics or advertising scripts (such as Google Analytics or Google AdSense) on the Service. If this changes, we'll update this policy and this section before doing so.

2. How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account and let you sign in
• To operate the points, tasks, leaderboard, and achievements systems
• To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
• To review point purchases and process point purchase support requests
• To send account-related notifications (task activity, streak reminders, purchase status, moderation actions)
• To respond to support requests sent to support@nexorealm.org or via our Discord server

3. How your information is stored

Your session is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay logged in between visits — we do not use tracking cookies. Account and activity data is stored in our database, hosted by Supabase. Public profile information (display name, avatar, bio, stats) is visible to other users and, if you don't opt out, may be visible to search engines via your public profile page.

4. Third parties we work with

• Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage
• PayPal — processes point purchase payments; we don't see your payment details, only the reference you submit to us
• Google Fonts — loads web fonts used on this site; your browser makes a request to Google's font servers to load them
• Discord — our community server is hosted on Discord; anything you post there is governed by Discord's own privacy policy

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

5. Your choices and rights

• You can update your display name, bio, avatar, and social links at any time in Settings
• You can email support@nexorealm.org to request a copy of your data, correct inaccurate data, or request account deletion
• Deleting your account removes your personal profile information; some records (such as anonymized transaction history needed for fraud prevention and accounting) may be retained as required by law

6. Children's privacy

Next Boost is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

7. Data security

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and database access controls — to protect your data. No online service is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
