How to Get Free Twitch Followers
Buying followers gets you a number, not an audience. Here's how to grow your Twitch channel with real people who actually followed on purpose.
Why bought Twitch followers don't help your channel
Purchased follower bots pad your count but never show up in chat, never watch a stream, and do nothing for your position in Twitch's discovery algorithm — which weighs actual viewership and engagement far more than raw follower totals. A channel with a big follower number and an empty chat during every stream is easy for real viewers to spot, and it can hurt your credibility more than having a smaller, honest following.
Real, individually-followed growth at least gives you a shot at building an actual community — people who followed because they clicked through and decided to, not because a bot farm added them.
How to get real Twitch followers on Next Boost
- Sign up free and get 100 points to start.
- Follow other streamers' channels to earn points — each follow task gives you points once you've followed.
- Post your own task with your channel link, set how many new followers you want, and how many points you're offering per follow.
- Real Twitch users follow your channel using their own accounts, no bots involved.
Making the most of new followers once you have them
Go live on a consistent schedule
Following comes with an optional Twitch notification, so a predictable schedule gives new followers a reliable reason to actually show up when you go live, instead of forgetting about the follow entirely.
Give first-time viewers something to do
A visible chat, a simple !commands list, or even just greeting new arrivals by name turns a passive follow into an actual first interaction with your stream.
Run a follow task around a big stream or event
If you've got a launch, collab, or special stream coming up, running another follow task beforehand is a low-effort way to bring in a fresh batch of followers right when you need eyes on the channel.
Is this against Twitch's terms of service?
No automated bots are following your channel — every follow through a Next Boost task happens manually, by a real person visiting your channel URL and clicking follow like anyone else would. You only ever share your channel's public Twitch link.

Get started freeFrequently asked questions
Will I get real Twitch followers or bots?
Real followers. Every follow comes from an actual Next Boost user manually visiting your channel and following with their own Twitch account.
Is it free to grow my Twitch channel this way?
Yes. You earn points by following other creators' channels, then spend those points to get followers for your own channel, with no payment required.
Will followers actually watch my streams?
A follow alone doesn't guarantee viewership, but it does put your channel in front of real accounts, and following often comes with a Twitch notification when you go live.
Do I need to link my Twitch account to Next Boost?
No. You only need to share your channel's public Twitch URL — no account linking or extra permissions are required.
